Winston Taylor, Geography

Graduated in 2006

Before coming to Bath Spa University I was initially apprehensive about how quickly I would adapt to the demands of university education. However, such concerns were short-lived and I have no doubt that this was due to both the academic and pastoral support I received from my lecturers and personal tutor. This was something, I believe, made possible by the relative size of the institution, and similarly being taught in small groups has also enabled me to make the most of their guidance, specific expertise, and obvious passion for geography and teaching. Supported by invaluable fieldwork, each module has provided me with key skills and developed my confidence and ability to work autonomously to the extent I now feel prepared to continue into postgraduate education.
