Professional Bodies
Established in 1941, the goal of The Nutrition Society is to "advance the scientific study of nutrition and its application to the maintenance of human and animal health".
The Nutrition Society is the largest learned society for nutrition in Europe, and students on the Diet and Health course are encouraged to become student members of the Nutrition Society in the second year of their degree.
On graduation, students can apply for Associate Registration with The Nutrition Society.
