Environmental Science

Overview

Overview

Pollution, sea level rise, habitat destruction, flooding, loss of biodiversity, climate change, depletion of the Earth’s natural resources...

Arguably, there has never been a more pressing need to understand the environment and particularly the way humans affect it. At Bath Spa University, Environmental Science provides an excellent combination of theory and practical application, with an opportunity to specialise in topics that interest you. Environmental Science is available as a 3-year Honours Degree (BSc).

Typical real-life areas of study are: climate change and sea-level rise, pollution impacts, the conservation of biodiversity, environmental management, soil and water conservation, wastes management, environmental law, and the protection and management of natural systems.

More information about the course structure, specialisation pathways, field trips, etc is provided via the links on the left of this page.
