Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (CIWM)

The Chartered Institution of Wastes Management is a leading professional body for waste and resource management.

They have over 7,000 members, mostly in the UK but also in the Irish Republic and 250 members elsewhere in the world.  Their focus is on professionalism and information, based on sound science and training.

Students studying wastes management at Honours Level are eligible to become student members and CIWM sponsors an annual student prize at Bath Spa for such work.
