Fees and Bursaries

What do fees cover?

In addition to the normal teaching and tutor support in the School of Science, Society and Management the fees include:

  • costs of laboratory materials, equipment and protective clothing
  • subsidised field trips, field days and other off-site activities
  • extensive on-site fieldwork resources
  • Minerva (our e-learning environment), which provides on and off-site access to: course and module handbooks; e-learning materials to support lectures, seminars and practicals; electronic library resources; data from practical work; and, access to tutors.
