Dr Diana Reader, Subject Leader: Business and Management
I joined the Business and Management team in 2003. I am the module co-ordinator for the Level 4 core module ‘Organisations and the Business Environment and the L6 core ‘Dissertation’.
I graduated with a first class BSc (Honours) degree in 1997. This was followed with an MSc in Management Science. My PhD 'Entrepreneurship Research: Evidence of the Intellectual, Social and Collaborative Nature of the Domain' was completed in 2005. My research used bibliometric analyses to explore how the academic field of entrepreneurship has emerged and this was presented to both scientometric and entrepreneurship communities.
Prior to joining the Business and Management team at Bath Spa, I was a lecturer at Southampton Business School. I have also gained considerable business experience working for companies specialising in market research and benchmarking.
