Changing Landscapes Research Group

Introduction

Introduction

The Changing Landscapes Research Group (CLRG) was formally established in 2011 and is co-ordinated by Dr Tom Hill (Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography). Members of this inter-disciplinary research group are involved in a wide range of research projects, which can be grouped into three mutually beneficial, interlinked and overlapping themes: Reconstructing the Past, Monitoring the Present, and Predicting the Future. The themes are inter-related and cross discipline interests and boundaries which will ensure successful research scholarship and activity amongst the entire Research Group. The proposed themes incorporate an understanding of both the natural environment and the impact of human activity on the landscape, employing established skills, methodologies and expertise present within the CLRG members. Information relating to each of the three research themes can be found by clicking on the relevant links to the left of this page.
